PostSubject: Buttontimers   Buttontimers EmptyWed Aug 18, 2010 7:12 pm

Soooo this is really mostly for dot classes such as lock and spriest's but I'm pretty sure almost every class has buffs that can be kept track of thru Buttontimers. But basically I fell in love with this addon after using ForteXorcist for like forever. I loved the sleek look, but I hated those bars, dun ask Idk why they just seem very inefficient.

BUT THIS ADDON, it's like my new wow crack it's so sexy >Smile

How it works is that it gives you a bar, one not normally associated w/ anything you can access w/o mods from the default UI. If you use bartender/other bar addon just find a spot that's not in use. Basically you put a spell on the bar then assign it to a buff. For example I have shadowbolt associated w/ shadow mastery (my 5% crit debuff)

W/E It's teh sex, and I love the way it is set up over my old Forte so I'm gona leave a youtube link for setting it up, and a screenshot of mine :3

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAhF95VkXU4 <--- that's the video he also talks about power aura's if you didn't know about that addon :O

And my screenshot: https://i.servimg.com/u/f38/15/38/92/02/zzzzzz10.jpg

See the diff? Yes i know buttontimer's is a bit more scaled bigger but still it's design is very nice for dots Smile

That's the format I'm trying to get away from, the small bar w/ name and time in small print.

I'm just using TellMeWhen for my Shadow Priest now. Much nicer for the timers I actually wanna watch.

Yeah I use MFClip too, and well more specifically I just switched from Quartz casting bars to Gnosis casting bars. The MFClip is mega handy and the Gnosis bars are beautiful XD

Yeah I originally tried Quartz didn't care for it. Shadowpriest.com has a lot of nice caster addons.

Yeah that's basically my homepage lately T.T Love those forums XD

I had been using ForteXorcist before, like Biohazard mentioned, but realized it just showed me too many procs/buffs/debuffs/timers without a quick way to make it only show the few I really need to know about. Razz

I'll have to take a new screenshot of my current UI and post it in that other thread soon... I still feel like it's too cluttered though :'c

I see the Soulfire icon in the middle, what addon is that and is it telling you when Decimation is proc'd?

That's power aura's and it is telling me when decimation is procced as well as the time remaining. I use it because forteXorcist is annoying as I said.

The thing to the right and slightly above is also power aura's telling me when Molten Core is up and the amount of stacks it has.

The corruption and immolate icons by my feet also show if they are up and their duration's.
